BOULDERS BEACH

Ever wondered why a penguin waddles? Why they are dressed up in fancy tuxedos?

We have all the answers and more when we visit our fluffy friends at Boulders beach. Home to over 2000 African Penguins this area is named after the massive granite boulders on the beach that form shelter and protection from the elements for these little guys.

We get to view the penguins from an elevated boardwalk so as not to disturb their precious eco system and even more importantly their super sensitive breeding area.
