COVID 19 UPDATE
WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
Currently we are only offering private tours adhering to strict Covid 19 Protocols.
We are all in this together and we are here to provide a little spark of joy into your life. Whether you are a newbie to Cape Town or feel like learning something different about the city that we love
WHATS OUR STORY?
BY TRAVELLERS, FOR TRAVELLERS
We want you to experience Cape Town with all of your senses
Lucky and Lost was started by two travellers who are passionate about traveling and people, but ‘hate’ tours in the traditional sense!
We realized that our most memorable travel experiences were with locals who showed us the best places to go, how to experience them and the friends we made along the way.
We want to provide the same experience for other travellers in our home town.
That’s why we do things a little differently …

We swim upstream
Our tour goes in the opposite direction of everyone else, that’s because we do it like a local and crowds aren’t exactly our idea of fun

Guides who love this city
We only use local guides who are stoked to show and share with you stories, knowledge and tips about their home town

Local Music
We love music and we love local! When we put them together you will get a real taste of the diversity that is South Africa. Trust us on this one
Private Tours
CAPE TOWN FOODIE WALKING TOUR
The best way to explore Cape Town is by walking its vibrant streets.
Cape Town Foodie Tour adds some local flavour by combining a traditional walking tour with the culinary offerings of some of the city’s hip, historical, and culturally important areas. As the tour makes its way through the streets of the Mother City, you will pop into a variety of eateries where you will feast on South African favourites.
Remember that this is a group tour with maximum of 10 people and a minimum of 2 people.

NO HIDDEN EXTRA COSTS

PRIVATE CAPE WINE TOUR
We have had to taste A LOT of wine but it was worth it!
We have curated a wine tour that showcases 4 completely different wine farms and most importantly shares the stories behind the people that make the Cape and its grapes so unique. We visit farms in Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek but our best part is enjoying a 3 course South African lunch surrounded by a majestic mountain range in the quirky garden of a local legend! Or is the chocolate our best part? Maybe it’s the cheese and wine…

PRIVATE CAPE PENINSULA DAY TOUR
We start the day in colourful Bo Kaap before heading down the Peninsula to visit our penguin friends at Boulders beach penguin colony. Follow that with some hiking at the Cape of Good Hope and treat yourself to a tasting of some famous South African wine. The breathtaking Chapmans Peak Drive leads us back along the coastal road to Camps Bay.
if you only have a few days in Cape Town then you should definitely spend one with us!

We are not fond of rules but here are a few guidelines to make the best of your day:
Please wear comfortable walking shoes
Bring a hat & sunscreen (spf30+), the African sun is serious!
Bring a refillable water bottle. It really does help the environment!
Pack a swimming costume and towel so you can dry off after lunch if you decide to have a swim.
Pack something warm, the weather in Cape Town can change quickly
